Ra’anaa Wooden, an Entrepreneur and Musical Artist, Has Diverse Skills

Ra’anaa Wooden, better known by her stage names RaRa and Rostah Rah, is active in several artistic endeavors. The rapper, singer, and songwriter is also a photographer and an entrepreneur with a remarkable way of interacting with her audience via the music she makes. College Park, Atlanta native Rostah Rah is determined to make the best artwork possible, no matter where she is in the Lone Star State’s capital city of Dallas.

“I was homeless for most of 2020. That experience made me want to make a difference in my community because I saw how easy it is for people to lose everything in our unstable economy. Life is constantly changing and people need a safety net so that nobody falls through the cracks. I want to create that safety net without encouraging codependence on a system.” Aiming for a more professional demeanor as well as proving her critics wrong is her primary goal. I worked in the restaurant business for six years, I’d say under pressure doesn’t phase me too much anymore.

What kind of impact do you want to make with your music?

I want to encourage young people of color to change the world with their differences and to teach non people of color that tolerance is cool. Nobody has to be the same, but we can all want better for each other.

Due to the fact that Ra’anaa lives in Dallas, she has taken the stage at the Dallas Open Mic on several occasions. This has had an effect on her music career in the sense that she has set up and participated in a number of collaborations, and since she has been so consistent on the scene, she has been given the opportunity to tour the country and promote her music there.

Ra’anaa is a successful entrepreneur and singer who is well renowned. Even if things don’t always go as planned in the actual world, Ra’anaa does not give up. Her music style has been exciting and she describes it to always be transforming. “My music style, I’d like to say hip hop, but I’m moving more towards an alternative hip hop sound. She aspires to have a successful career while simultaneously using her talent in music to make the world a better place.

In the year 2022, she establishes a strong reputation for herself in the music business as a result of her tireless efforts, unwavering commitment to the endeavor, and ability to draw creativity from both the public and the private aspects of her job.
