Deven Gibson, also known as ‘DbGib or Giby’ is a musical artist from Lake City, Florida. DbGib is on his way to the top. The upcoming artist has already worked with a diverse range of sounds and has great intentions for the work he displays. He makes a difference in the business with his music skills. Known as determined, self made, and a visionary in perspective, the artist, DbGib, comes from humble beginnings and has major work coming up as an artist. “I just dropped ‘Oh Why’ on all platforms along with a video this month. I did the video on my birthday that passed by on March 28th. I dedicated it to my sister and brother I lost in the past. I recently lost one of my sisters out of the four. The past month I’m tryna get an EP and video out soon.
My most memorable moment in my career was the 1st time doing a showcase in Atlanta last year around Valentine’s Day bringing my cousins luh Luda, ftm management with me while doing a vlog. Even though DbGibis devoted to perfecting the art of his craft to the highest level, his hardships have made him want to do even better in his business as well. DbGib is now focused on continuing to be the best in his city, so that he can build on his already strong foundation even more than it already is with his music with his latest work. “My life is inspiring me right now consistently. Just wanting more. I need the world to hear how I feel. And maybe become rich and successful off my songs I make one day, to inspire the youth. And older ones if possible, with relationships and pain people hold in daily.”
How have you dealt with pressure when it has come to your work?
Just dealing with personal life disturbances in my life and just tuning out the negativity in this world together. Sometimes I love to just ride out by myself and stay busy working to keep my mind off things.
How have you overcome struggles to be where you are now?
Just working more and balancing out my decisions I make with the financial side of me. Putting money aside to not touch. Trying to be smarter, not spending as much or going out as much as well.
What is one thing you would like to do to give back to the city that you are from?
Give to kids in need with no way to college to help give them scholarships to colleges from high school level that possibly didn’t have no offers that are exceeding in school and not in trouble in school
What other talents are you good at?
Basketball, football and landscaping.
As a business owner, what are some obstacles you have had to overcome to get where you are at?
Investing alone with no help financially.
What do you have coming up right now that you want others to know about?
I got a music video and song coming soon with an artist named Kay Trill she down here in Florida as well.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My mom and dad learned life lessons like relationships and knowledge with money from. My mom and my dad taught me how to stay strong minded but don’t let down.

I want to be remembered for being genuine and my heart I had for people around me. Also my music and the impact I had around me. Work hard, don’t give up and always go harder than the last thing you did and you will accomplish a lot in life.” DbGib remains focused on his goals and has quality work every time he creates.
