He has major work coming up as an artist. “Currently I am working on my follow up project to my most recent release which was my debut album ‘Can I Be Frank: Volume 1 War Arc’ which I released independently with over 100k streams and 4 songs charting on the ITunes Hip Hop top 100 charts. My next project will be a lead up to my very first project ‘Black Coupe Blues’ that I released back in 2020. I plan on releasing this next project in the summer of 2024.Outside of working on my album I have some shows lined up throughout the year. After signing my deal with Cspot global run by the great Frank and Emilee Wade I will be performing in Cali August 12, Vegas September 3, and a HBCU tour sponsored by Cspot at the end of September.” Frank Vibes is now focused on maintaining his position as the greatest in his community so that he may expand upon his already solid base with his most recent effort. From a large crowd of artists, he stands out.
Despite Frank Vibes’s dedication to honing his skill to the greatest standard, his struggles have driven him to strive for even greater success in his career. “I had to realize that it was on me to invest in myself, keep track of my schedule, and remain on top of my product which is my music. You also have to put in the man hours to really make things happen. It will not come to you overnight at all so never think that at all. Remain yourself, never sacrifice your morals but our hustle and our work the competition at all times.”
What is inspiring you right now consistently to work on your endeavors?
What is inspiring me is just working to innovate and cultivate a new sound and culture in Hip Hop. Really working to prove the core foundation and primary principles of the music I love is still alive breathing and thriving to this day.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My oldest brother Phillip was the first person I ever heard rap. My older brother Phelan was my very first feature when I actually started recording. My mom and pops without them I would’ve never known I could have dreams and accomplish them. My team Jaleel, Rashod, Jude, Tommy, Joie and Alicia they don’t have to work with me or believe in me they choose to and that’s why I appreciate and love them. Also have to thank my big homies Marcus, OJ and Myke and the rest of the Sigma Zeta Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
Frank Vibes ends the interview with a piece of advice that others can take back from the work he is doing. He knows his struggles have pushed him to be the person he is. “I refused to give up, that’s it. That’s all no matter how touch or how hard it got I wouldn’t give up. Only person that can save you is you so trust God, trust yourself and be your own hero. Always be yourself and allow your imagination and true intentions to speak for you. Let what you create speak volumes to where you don’t have to say anything the art does for you.” Frank Vibes remains focused on his goals and has quality work every time he creates. An artist worth looking at. From the moves being made in the city, he aims high, and is constantly inspiring others throughout his journey.
