Mirvatte Mtanos was recently interviewed by Famo Celebrity Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with her
Introduction – Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Mirvatte Mtanos, and I am a Lebanese interior architect, graphic designer, and entrepreneur. I am the founder of Mirvatte Architect & Design, where I work on projects that combine interior architecture, graphic design, and branding. My design philosophy focuses on the connection between space, visual identity, and human emotion.
I believe that design should not only be beautiful but also meaningful and purposeful. Through my work, I aim to create environments that inspire people and communicate a deeper message.
Personal Background – Can you share a little experience about your upbringing and early life?
I was born and raised in Lebanon, a country rich in culture, history, and artistic inspiration. From a young age, I was always interested in drawing, creativity, and imagining spaces. This passion naturally led me to study and work in the design field. Growing up in such an artistic and cultural environment helped shape my appreciation for architecture and design. These early influences played an important role in forming my professional path.

Career and Achievements – What do you consider the highlights of your career so far?
One of the most important highlights of my career was founding Mirvatte Architect & Design. Creating my own studio allowed me to express my design philosophy and work on projects that integrate interior architecture with graphic identity.
Another highlight has been being featured in international magazines and platforms that support women entrepreneurs. These recognitions allowed me to share my perspective on design psychology and creativity with a wider audience. Every successful project that transforms a space into something meaningful is also a great achievement for me.
Challenges and Growth – What are some of the challenges you’ve faced in your career, and how did you overcome them?
Building a career as an entrepreneur in the design industry comes with many challenges. There is strong competition and the responsibility of managing both creative and business aspects. Sometimes the path is not easy, but persistence and passion are very important. I overcame these challenges by continuing to develop my skills and staying focused on my vision. Every challenge eventually became an opportunity to grow stronger both professionally and personally.
Passions and Hobbies – What are your interests and hobbies outside of your career?
Outside of my design career, I enjoy acting, presenting, and creative media activities. I have a strong interest in performance, communication, and everything related to media and public speaking. I enjoy expressing ideas and emotions through storytelling and presentation. These activities allow me to explore another creative side of my personality. For me, creativity is not limited to design; it can also be expressed through performance and artistic communication.

Milestones and Future Goals – What are some of the milestones you hope to achieve in the coming years?
In the coming years, I hope to expand my work internationally and collaborate with clients and creative professionals from different countries. I would also like to continue developing the concept of design psychology within architecture and interior design. Another goal is to participate in projects that have cultural and social impact. I believe design has the power to improve people’s environments and experiences. Continuing to grow creatively while inspiring others is very important to me.
Life Lessons – What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned in your life or career?
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that patience and perseverance are essential for success. Achievements in creative fields take time, dedication, and consistency. It is important to stay true to your vision while continuing to learn and grow. Passion combined with discipline can lead to meaningful results. When you believe in your purpose, opportunities eventually follow.
Advice for Aspiring Artists – What advice would you give to young artists looking to make a mark in the industry?
My advice to aspiring artists is not to blindly follow trends. Trends appear and disappear very quickly. What truly makes you stand out is your own voice and your own style. When you develop your unique identity, your work becomes timeless. Be authentic, be creative, and most importantly, be unique.
