Indie Fashion Show

DALLAS, TX | April 11, 2026-

The Indie Fashion Show took over Stonewater on Saturday night, delivering a high energy, culture shifting experience that brought together some of the most promising emerging designers in the industry. With a packed audience dressed in all white, the 7 PM showcase transformed 10261 Technology Blvd into a vibrant runway of creativity, individuality, and unapologetic expression.

Curated with creative direction from Daishawn Franklin and Dean Beanz, the event spotlighted a powerful lineup of independent designers who are redefining fashion on their own terms. Featured brands included B MAtchy, Kreative Klothing, NYGS Fashions, Praxi Human, DesignedXPeace, Chill Street House, Aroha by Ambika, Laviner, So Like You Fashion, Blu Print, Paroma Ala Mode, Gemini Hues, and House of Armadaus. Each collection told its own story, blending streetwear, cultural influence, and forward thinking design into a seamless and unforgettable showcase.

From the moment the first model stepped onto the runway, the energy in the room was undeniable. Attendees experienced more than just a fashion show. It was a statement that independent creatives are no longer waiting for validation but are building their own platforms and commanding their own audiences.

Behind the scenes, the production reflected a high level of organization and care for talent. Models were provided with a designated space on the upper level of the venue, allowing them to seamlessly change wardrobes and prepare for each segment of the show. This added level of structure ensured smooth transitions throughout the night and elevated the overall professionalism of the experience.

Dean Beanz, one of the key creative forces behind the show, shared the deeper mission driving the movement. “For me, I look at fashion the same way I look at music. There’s too many entities gatekeeping and not giving people the opportunity. It’s way more people that are talented without the opportunity than there are with opportunity. So I focus on them. If somebody tells you no, make sure you never need their yes again.”

That message resonated throughout the night as designers pushed boundaries and showcased collections rooted in authenticity, resilience, and innovation. The Indie Fashion Show created a space where raw talent met real opportunity without the constraints of traditional industry systems.

The event also highlighted the power of collaboration, with special thanks to partner Tint Beauty and Makeup School, whose team elevated each look with professional styling and makeup artistry that brought each designer’s vision to life.

As the night came to a close, the impact was clear. This was not just an event. It was a movement. The Indie Fashion Show has established itself as a platform for the next generation of fashion leaders, proving that the future of the industry belongs to those bold enough to create it themselves.
